Reflections on the changes in our English lessons

Dear friends,

Please, share your reflections on the changes in our English lessons. What has happened? Has your attitude to learning English changed? Is it worth using the Internet in and out of class? Why? What opportunities do you have when you get tasks to do on the Internet? What did you enjoy most? What would you like to continue to do in our lessons in the future?

Looking forward to getting your true answers.

  1. I don't like this idea, because I don't have much time to surf the internet every day. I think, that it would be better to write this text in workbook. Of course it is good for us . But I have other homework and I don't want to surf the internet to doing English. This idea withdraw a lot of time, watch video, think about it and write long text in the internet for a mark.

  2. It's interesting and a bit unusial to write in English in the internet. It's good as we try to use "speaking" language in this blog. But sometimes we have some problems and because of them we can't use computer and serve the internet: parents don't allow to "sit in computer" or a lot of school homework, for example.
But I quite like it, it's great! :)))

  4. I think it's a good way to develop English language. Honestly, I can't believe that we can practise English this way. Any time we can chat here with our teacher and ask some quastions about something) And all thanks to our blog!

But there is one minus. I don't have so much time to sit at the computer((( It is very sad... In spite of minuses of our blog I very like it:)

  5. I believe that it's a good idea and a good way to develop our abilities. When we write to the blog we improve our knowledge. Also in this blog we can communicate with our classmates and with teacher.
But I guess there is one minus in this work. I (and not only I) don't have enough time to doing this exercises :(
Honestly, I like this idea. But we can do exercises not every day. I think once a week will be ok)

    1. I completely agree with you, Nob. And I want to say,I really enjoy such lessons as it seems to me livelier. And for some ,speaking in blog in English can be easier than in life. Also I like watching english videos, that’s great for understanding foreigners. So, many thanks to your teacher as this teacher will help us to progress!

  7. I really enjoy this experiment, because it gave me a very good chance to practice my listening skills. But I sometimes I don't have much time to watch such long videos. On the other hand, I learnt some spoken phrases, new words, learnt the formula of success and I can understand the speech of native speakers better:)

  8. My dear students,

Thank you very much for your sincere comments. I see that most of you would like to continue using the Internet for our lessons. Of course, there are some questions to discuss, for example, how often we should do it. Perhaps, once or twice a week. Obviously, the Internet offers new opportunities to those who take English seriously as 45-minute lessons are not enough to communicate in English. As David Beckham said, "when the opportunity comes along, you have to take it." So, let's take it!

    Best wishes,
    T.Y.
